Rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition very often resulting from expanding lymph vessels and often appears in many forms including a red nose, flushed cheeks or pus-filled bumps & spots. Whilst it can often be mistaken for acne, Rosacea does not scar.
With most typical treatments taking only 20 to 30 minutes, clients are able to take full advantage of the benefits of a more youthful appearance without the interruption to their busy lifestyle. Before treatment, the client is diagnosed and asked questions about their skin and its condition. During the treatment, the therapist applies a smooth, glass surface of the IPL handpiece to the skin. Light is then delivered to the skin's surface in precise pulses that are typically pain free. Once the treatment is complete, clients may feel a little heat on the surface of the treated area and some redness, which can last for 1 to 2 hours.
